Yes, a hot combo, but get your mind out of the gutter! Held at 910 Arts on Santa Fe, the Focus on Philanthropy event was truly a hit. Generously sponsored by Hunter + Geist, Special Counsel and Law Week Colorado, lady-legal-professionals gathered to benefit Underwearness, a local non-profit organization that provides new underwear for children in need. The gallery proved to be a beautiful event space with a colorful and welcoming entrance off of the popular Santa Fe Art District, and equally colorful art (and cats) on the inside accented with natural light.
What could top this? Adding wine and chocolate. Special guest, Julie Pech, also known as The Chocolate Therapist joined in the fun to present the health benefits of chocolate. Yes you read it right, health benefits. With sweet, savory, and above all, delicious samplings Ms. Pech shared her love not only for the tasty morsels, but for the process of creating a high-quality (and high-antioxidant) treat.
