We Heart Denver

Barefoot on the Town’s Sarah Hogan with Penfield Tate.

Yesterday, Barefoot on the Town attended the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Meeting at the Sheraton Downtown Denver. The event celebrates the accomplishments of Denver’s business community over the past year, and marks the passing of the baton for the Chamber’s volunteer leadership. It’s also well attended by lawyers, lobbyists and business leaders from all industry sectors.

We were particularly thrilled to catch up with our friend, Penfield Tate. Some of you may know Penfield from his work as a public finance attorney at Greenberg Traurig, others for his role on Denver Water’s Board of Commissioners. What we enjoy most about Penfield, is his love of Denver. As a former state legislator, mayoral aide, policy advocate and community leader, Penfield knows the inner workings of the city better than most. And he is quick to tell you how you can get involved. We think this is one of the reason’s the Chamber tapped him to sit on its Board of Directors. We look forward to seeing what the Chamber has in store this next year, and how Penfield will be involved.

Tonight, Barefoot on the Town will switch our focus from business to fashion at Larimer Square’s Fashion’s Night Out Celebration. If you plan to be there, let us know. We would love to snap a picture with you. Tweet Barefoot on the Town at @BarefootPRDen or email us at barefootpr@me.com.
